Does Mutate Untap in MTG?
JokingTunic路7 months agoNope, mutating in MTG doesn't untap the creature. The mutate mechanic lets you merge creatures on the battlefield for some cool effects, but it doesn't reset the creature's status. So if your creature was tapped before mutating, it stays tapped.

As a long-time MTGer, let me clear this up: Mutating does zip to untap your creatures. It's like adding an awesome sidecar to your motorcycle; makes it cooler but doesn't fill up the gas tank.
Actually, mutate won't untap your creature. It's all about stacking abilities, not refreshing your critters for another go!
