Nope, it doesn't work the way you'd hope. No Escape is a counter spell that exiles the spell it counters. However, the God Eternals from MTG have a built-in ability that when they die or are put into exile from the battlefield, they tuck themselves into their owner's library third from the top instead of going to the exile zone. So if you counter a God Eternal with No Escape, it won't get exiled but will instead find its way back into the library. Sneaky gods!

Look, why complicate things? Just remember, God Eternals laugh in the face of No Escape.

Actually, it's pretty straightforward - No Escape can't exile God Eternals for good. They're designed to dodge exile from the battlefield and slip back into the deck.

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
