Does Null Rod effect Moxes in MTG?
SinkingDuel路7 months agoYup, Null Rod definitely puts Moxes on a timeout. It shuts down their ability to tap for mana since it stops all activated abilities of artifacts, and Moxes, despite being powerful, are still artifacts at heart. So if you got Mox jewels hoping to bling out your mana pool, Null Rod is like the fashion police saying 'Nope, not today'.

Think of Null Rod as the 'Off' switch for any fancy mana rocks you have, including Moxes. It's all fun and games until someone plays a Null Rod.
Actually, I think Null Rod is overrated. Moxes aren't that big of a deal in my games. Maybe it's just my playgroup, but we rarely see them make or break a game. Sure, Null Rod stops them, but there are bigger threats out there.
No mana for you! Moxes get zapped by Null Rod. It's like putting a lock on them.
