One Punch Man did not come from Dragon Ball, though you might notice some hilarious and epic nods to the world of DB. Both are awesome in their own right!

One Punch Man and Dragon Ball might share some similarities, especially in the over-the-top battles, but One Punch Man is an original work by the artist ONE.

Nope, totally separate origins! One Punch Man was created by ONE, not Akira Toriyama who created Dragon Ball.

No, One Punch Man is not derived from Dragon Ball. They do both have epic battles and over-the-top heroes, though!

As a long-time fan of both, I can tell you that Dragon Ball definitely influenced many works, but One Punch Man stands on its own with its own creator and style.
