Unfortunately, the PS3 remote doesn't work with the PS4. Sony decided to keep things separate for some reason. But hey, you can always get a PS4 remote!

Short answer: No. PS4 needs its own remote.

The PS3 remote does not work with the PS4. I had to get a new one when I upgraded consoles. Trust me, the PS4 remote's features are worth it!
