Kinda, but not really. It means it can't be blocked, targeted, dealt damage, or enchanted by anything it has protection from. So, unblockable in a very specific situation!

Protection does NOT mean unblockable! It's a common misconception. Sure, it can lead to a creature being unblockable by creatures of a specific color or type it's protected from, but that's just part of the package. Don't forget the rest!

Nope, 'protection' in MTG doesn't exactly mean 'unblockable.' It actually prevents damage, targeting, attaching (like enchantments or equipment), or blocking by whatever it's protected from. So, if your creature has protection from blue, blue creatures can't block it, sure, but that's just a slice of the protection pie!

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
