Unfortunately, the PS5 controller (DualSense) doesn’t work natively with the PS4 Pro. Looks like you’ll need a PS4 controller for your PS4 Pro gaming sessions!

You can get it to work with a USB cable and a bit of tinkering, but it's not really worth the hassle in my opinion.

Nope, the PS5 controller is not compatible with the PS4 Pro.

I gave it a shot myself, but the DualSense won't pair with the PS4 Pro at all. Stick with the trusty DualShock 4 for now.
