Unfortunately, the PS5 doesn't have native support for ultrawide monitors. You'll end up with black bars on the sides.

Nope, PS5 sticks to the classic 16:9 aspect ratio, so ultrawide users are out of luck.
I use an ultrawide with my PS5, but it only displays in 16:9 with black bars. Not ideal, but it works for me!
