Most of the PS3 games don't share servers with PS4 or PS5 games. They run on older PSN infrastructure, if they're even still online.

Nope, PSN servers for PS3 have been largely shut down or aren't shared with the newer systems, but you can still play some legacy games online!

From what I’ve experienced, PS3 servers are mostly standalone. PSN for PS4 and PS5 is on a different level!
