Does Reciprocate remove indestructible creatures in MTG?
DebiasingPons路7 months agoNah, Reciprocate can't touch those indestructible critters in MTG. Reciprocate specifically exiles a creature that dealt damage to you this turn, but indestructibility means a creature ain't going nowhere from destruction effects. And since Reciprocate doesn't say anything about ignoring indestructible, those creatures are safe from its exile effect.

Indestructible means exactly that - can't be destroyed. But exile? Whole different ballgame. Reciprocate doesn't care if a creature is indestructible since it sends them straight to exile instead.
Yep, Reciprocate exiles, it doesn't destroy. So it can technically remove an indestructible creature if it dealt damage to you because being indestructible only protects creatures from destruction, not exile.
