Does regenerate cancel Vanishing in MTG?
EnvassalingTier路7 months agoRegenerate doesn't stop Vanishing. Vanishing removes the creature from the game when the last time counter is gone. So, it bypasses the regenerate ability entirely. Think of it as a contractual expiration rather than an injury.

Nah, regenerate won't save your creature from vanishing. Regenerate is like a safety net for damage or destroy effects, but vanishing is like your creature getting teleported out of existence. When those time counters hit zero, it's game over for the creature, no matter how many regenerate shields you've got up.
Vanishing is a sneaky way to get around regenerate. Regenerate can't touch it, sadly.
