You gotta reset fully if the game knows you've killed someone before. It remembers everything!

Yup, if you save after killing someone, you're locked out of the Pacifist ending. But if you reload to a save before the kill, you're good to go!

As long as you didn't save after the kill, you can reload and still get the Pacifist ending. Just be careful!

Hey, I tried this once. I reloaded my save before the kill and managed to still get the Pacifist ending. So, don't worry too much!
