Does Spell Reduction Reduce Buyback in MTG?

Nah, doesn't work like that. Spell cost reducers only apply to the initial casting cost, not the buyback. Buyback is a separate additional cost that you decide to pay as you cast the spell. Cost reduction effects don't touch that.

Totally does! In Magic The Gathering, if you've got an effect that reduces the cost of spells, that reduction applies to the whole shebang, buyback cost included. So, if you're slinging spells left and right and want to use them again with buyback, those cost reducers have got your back!

Absolutely, spell cost reductions can make your buybacks cheaper too. I've been playing MTG for years, and nothing feels better than getting to use your spells over and over for less mana. Makes those combo decks even more fun to play!

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
