Does splicing trigger in MTG?
DistributingJoke路7 months agoNah, splicing onto Arcane (or any spell really) doesn't trigger anything by itself. It's more about adding text to a spell without putting that spell on the stack again. So no new triggers from the splice, but the effects get beefed up!

Splicing itself isn鈥檛 a trigger in MTG. It's more of a sneaky way to bulk up your spells during the casting phase. Think of it like upgrading your spell with an extra kick, but without the bells and whistles of additional triggers.
Actually, splicing is super underrated. It's not about triggering; it's about stacking your deck's strategy in a single cast. No extra triggers, but loads of strategy!
