Spyro himself doesn't really upgrade, but you can collect power-ups and items like gems to assist you on your journey! Just gotta love that classic gameplay!

As someone who鈥檚 been a fan since '98, trust me, Spyro does get some neat abilities in certain levels, but he doesn鈥檛 upgrade permanently.
