Absolutely! In MTG, the graveyard is a crucial zone where cards go after being used, destroyed, or discarded. Some cards have effects that specifically target or trigger from the graveyard, enabling a variety of strategies. 'Standardize,' or similar effects refer to cards that create a uniform condition or change characteristics, and yes, they can affect cards in the graveyard too, depending on their text.

Nope, not all effects apply to the graveyard. It really depends on the card's text. If it doesn't say it affects the graveyard, it doesn't. Simple as that!

From my experience playing MTG, graveyard interaction is a key element for some decks. Cards like 'Tarmogoyf' rely on graveyard content to determine their power and toughness. So yeah, effects can apply, but always read your cards!

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
