Nope, not how it works. Stealing a creature doesn't automatically mean you get to keep its auras. It's all about the enchantment specifics. If it says 'enchant creature you control,' and you're not the one controlling it when the aura was cast, then you don't get the benefits.

Absolutely, when you steal a creature in Magic The Gathering, any auras attached to it come along for the ride. Think of the aura as the creature's fancy hat; if you take the creature, the hat comes with it. Just remember, if the aura has a condition like 'Enchant green creature,' and your thievery turns it into a non-green creature, that aura's going straight to the graveyard.

Yeah, stealing a creature means those auras stick around. Played a game last week where I snatched my opponent's best creature decked out in auras. Felt like Christmas came early!

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
