Does the Steam Deck come with Windows?
CluingWear路7 months agoNope, the Steam Deck does not come with Windows. It runs on SteamOS, which is Valve's own Linux-based operating system. It's designed to play games from your Steam library directly, but you do have the option to install Windows on it if you like tinkering around.

Nah, it's all about that SteamOS life. Windows? Not out of the box. But if you're feeling adventurous, you can definitely make it run Windows.
The short answer? No. It uses SteamOS, a Linux-based system. But yes, you can install Windows on it, though that's more of a DIY project.
