Nope, the Steam Deck does not support VRR. It's a cool piece of kit, but VRR didn't make the spec list. So, while you'll get to enjoy your Steam library on the go, smoothness adjustments via VRR won't be part of that experience.

The Steam Deck does not have VRR. It's primarily designed for handheld gaming and targets a consistent frame rate for its built-in display, rather than variable refresh rates. Still a game changer in portable PC gaming though!

VRR on a handheld? Nope, Steam Deck skipped that. But honestly, it's still a beast in portability and game access. Don't let the lack of VRR deter you.

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
