Steam's refund policy is actually pretty generous. They understand buyer's remorse – or that sometimes games just don't run like they're supposed to on your rig. As long as you're within that 14-day/2-hour window, they've got you covered.

Honestly, Steam's refund policy might spoil us. 14 days and less than 2 hours of playtime? More like a free trial if you ask me!

Yes, Steam does refund games! But there's a catch – you have to request the refund within 14 days of purchase, and you can't have more than 2 hours of playtime. So, if you accidentally bought 'My Little Pony: Island Adventures' thinking it was the next 'Dark Souls', you're in luck... as long as you figured it out quickly.

Refunds on Steam? Yeah, but good luck if you've binged more than 2 hours because then you're out of luck.

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
