Does Steam work on Linux?
CopyingSole路7 months agoAbsolutely, Steam works on Linux! Valve has developed a version of Steam specifically for Linux users. They've even gone a step further with Proton, a tool that lets you play Windows-only games on Linux. So, not only can you enjoy native Linux games, but a vast library of Windows games becomes accessible too.

Yeah it does, but expect some tinkering. Not all games are optimized for Linux, so sometimes you gotta play around with settings or use compatibility tools like Proton.
Steam on Linux? Sure, but it's a mixed bag. Don't expect every game to run smoothly as they would on Windows.
