Yes! Super Mario Galaxy has a cooperative multiplayer mode. Player two can jump in using a second Wii Remote to control a second pointer on the screen, making it possible to assist Mario by collecting stars and immobilizing enemies! It's a great way for a friend to join the adventure without needing the full gaming commitment.

Nope, not the multiplayer you're thinking of. It's more about player one having help collecting star bits and stunning enemies, but it won't feel like Mario Kart!

Played it with my cousin once. I was stuck collecting star bits while he got to be Mario, but hey, teamwork makes the dream work!
