Nope, Tajic won't help you there. His prevention ability only works on noncombat damage. So in a fight (which is considered combat damage), he's just another creature getting his hands dirty.

Actually, no. Tajic, Legion's Edge only prevents noncombat damage to other creatures you control. Since fighting is considered combat damage, Tajic's ability doesn't apply. Time to find another strategy!

Tajic can't stop a playground fight, let alone a MTG fight. His abilities are focused on noncombat damage, so in the arena of monster brawls, he's watching from the sidelines like the rest of us.
