Nope, Tears of the Kingdom doesn't run at 60FPS. It targets 30FPS on the Nintendo Switch, which is pretty standard for large, expansive games on the console. The focus is on the massive open world and the detailed environments, which look stunning even at 30FPS!

Tears of the Kingdom at 60FPS? In our dreams! It runs at 30FPS, but honestly, with how beautiful and smooth the gameplay is, you'll barely notice. Plus, the sheer scale and the freedom to explore make it totally worth it.

Actually, Tears of the Kingdom runs at 30FPS on the Switch, which is totally fine by me. The game looks gorgeous, and I rarely notice the frame rate because I'm too busy being wowed by the world Nintendo created. 10/10 would explore Hyrule again.

If you're a Legend of Zelda player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
