Nope, Terraria doesn't require PS Plus to play on PlayStation. You can enjoy the single-player mode without any subscription. However, if you're looking to dive into the multiplayer aspect and play with friends online, then PS Plus is necessary.

Nah, solo play doesn't need PS Plus at all. But yeah, for online multiplayer, you gotta have it.

Actually, I've been playing Terraria on my PS4 for ages without PS Plus, and it's been fine. Solo play is totally doable without any extra cost. But I had to subscribe when my friends wanted to join in online.
