It breaks, but honestly, you're more likely to lose your socks than see this shield break. It's that tough.

Oh, the Hylian Shield in Tears of the Kingdom is basically like that one friend who says they're 'just gonna chill tonight' and then is the last one to leave the party. It's durable, like super durable, but not invincible. With enough bashing and adventuring, it can break. But don't worry, it takes a LOT to bring it down.

Yes, it can break, but you'd probably have to try to break it, lol. It's the Nokia phone of shields.

Actually, I prefer it when it breaks. Gives me an excuse to explore more of Hyrule to find a replacement or repair it. It's all part of the adventure!

If you're a Legend of Zelda player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company. The logos and other identifying marks attached are trademarks of and owned by each represented company and/or its affiliates. Please visit each company's website for additional terms and conditions.
