Nope, the PlayStation Portable (PSP) doesn't need Wi-Fi for playing games. You can enjoy most of the games directly from the UMD (Universal Media Disc) or from the internal storage if you've downloaded them beforehand.

Wi-Fi is optional for the PSP. It's useful if you want to access the PlayStation Store, browse the web, or play online multiplayer. But many games and features work just fine without it!

You don't need Wi-Fi for most things on the PSP. Just pop in a UMD or use your memory stick and you're good to go!

Who needs Wi-Fi? My PSP is perfectly happy playing single-player games with no internet required.

First-hand experience: I used my PSP on long road trips without any Wi-Fi and had an amazing time with all the games I packed on it!

If you're a PlayStation player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official PlayStation gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
