Unfortunately, the PS4 doesn't support PS1 discs. You can, however, find some PS1 games available for download on the PlayStation Store.

From experience, I've tried popping in a PS1 disc into my PS4, and it gives me an error. So, no, it won't play directly. Check the store for digital versions!
