Not really, the PS5 doesn't have a dedicated web browser like the PS4 did. It's more focused on gaming and media apps.

Nope, Sony decided to skip a dedicated web browser on the PS5. Stick to your phone or PC for that!

Coming from someone who tried, the PS5 isn't built for web browsing. I couldn't even stream videos smoothly. It's much better for playing games and streaming through dedicated apps.

The PS5 does have some browser functionality hidden within the console, but it's not as user-friendly or accessible as a traditional web browser. You mainly use it for specific tasks like linking to sites from the PlayStation app.

If you're a PlayStation player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official PlayStation gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
