Nope, 'each' doesn't count as targeting in MTG. When a spell or ability says 'each', it's hitting everything it describes without selecting them. This means it can affect things with protection from certain colors or types, unlike targeted spells which can't interact with those protected.

Absolutely not. 'Each' is pretty much a blunt instrument in MTG, smacking everything it matches without discrimination. So, if your spell says 'destroy all creatures', your indestructible or protected ones aren't getting a free pass just because they think they're special.

Gonna disagree slightly. While technically 'each' doesn't target, knowing this won't save you from feeling targeted when a board wipe clears your whole setup. So, emotionally? Yes, it targets me very much. Strategically? Nah.

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
