Yep, toxic affects creatures in Magic The Gathering! Toxic is a mechanic that means when a creature with toxic deals combat damage to a player, that player gets a number of poison counters equal to the toxic value. So, it doesn't directly 'affect' other creatures, but rather it targets the player's life total in a different way. Regular combat damage and effects can still take out creatures though!

Toxic? More like 'sneaky damage'! It bypasses regular life points and stacks up poison counters on the player instead. Had a game where one tiny toxic creature sneaked through and slowly but surely sealed the deal. Watch out for those!

Short answer: No. Toxic targets players, not creatures. So, if you're looking to wipe out your opponent's creatures, you'll need to look into other mechanics or spells. Magic The Gathering is all about combining those strategies!

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
