Yep, Toxic and Infect totally stack in Magic The Gathering. When a creature with Infect deals damage to a creature, it deals that damage in the form of -1/-1 counters. If that Infect creature also has Toxic, it will put additional -1/-1 counters equal to its Toxic value on the creature it's dealing damage to. So, if you're looking to maximize those -1/-1 counters, combining Infect and Toxic is a killer strategy!

Short answer: Yes, they stack. If you love watching your opponent's creatures wither away into nothing, this combo is for you.

Actually, while they technically 'stack', remember Toxic is a newer mechanic and isn't found on a ton of cards yet. So, while it's cool in theory, pulling it off consistently might be trickier than you think. Still, when it works, it's pretty sweet.

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
