Absolutely, transform works with clones in MTG! When a clone copies a creature that has the transform ability, it copies the creature's current face and its ability to transform. If a condition is met for the clone to transform, it'll turn into whatever the back side of the original creature card is. Just remember, cloning a transformed creature will only copy the side that's currently face up!

Tested this myself last Friday night, it's legit. Cloned a Delver of Secrets, it transformed into an Insectile Aberration next turn just like the original. Mind you, clones copy the exact text on the card, so they do what the card says - transform included.

Nope, it doesn't really work like that. If you clone a transformed creature, you're only getting the side that's currently showing. Clones don't get to hop back and forth between forms.

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
