Absolutely not. Think of transmute as a fancy library search, not a spell you cast. Magic rules can be weird, but here they're pretty clear.

Gonna go against the grain here and say it kinda feels like casting a spell, right? You're using a card to do something. But, alas, in the eyes of the rules, it's just an ability, not a spell cast. So, no spellcasting triggers for transmuting.

Nope, transmuting doesn't count as casting a spell. It's more like activating an ability of the card that lets you search your library for another card. So, it won't trigger effects that happen when you cast a spell because technically, you're not casting anything!

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
