Unrated totally affects your MMR! I noticed it myself when I started placing higher in Competitive matches after I went on a winning streak in Unrated. It's like your secret gaming resume that Riot looks at to decide who you should be playing against.

Yep, Unrated games in Valorant do have an impact on your MMR (Match Making Rating). Even though it's kind of behind the scenes, playing Unrated affects your hidden MMR which in turn influences who you get matched with in Competitive games. It's kinda like Valorant's sneaky way of figuring out your skill level before you even hit the Competitive queue.

Nah, Unrated doesn't affect MMR. Just play and have fun. It's all about learning the game and improving your skills. Worry about MMR when you hit Competitive.

If you're a Valorant player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Valorant gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
