Does Valorant Still Have Kernel Access?

Absolutely, and it's a deal-breaker for me. Kernel-level access for an anti-cheat system feels like overkill. I get the need for security, but having that much access to my system? No thanks, I'll pass.

Yeah, Valorant still uses a kernel-level anti-cheat system called Vanguard. It's designed to keep cheaters at bay by having deep system access, which might sound a bit invasive but it's all in the name of keeping the game fair and fun. Riot Games is super serious about security, so while it's got kernel access, they're not using it to snoop - just to stop the hackers.

Nah, don't worry about it too much. Valorant does have kernel access because of its anti-cheat, Vanguard, but Riot's been transparent about what it does and doesn't do. Your data's safe, and it's all for making sure the game stays cheat-free.

If you're a Valorant player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Valorant gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
