Yes, you'll need a PS Plus membership for online multiplayer, but for solo zombies, you're all set without it.

Been playing Zombie Chronicles for a while now. Trust me, solo mode works perfectly fine without any PSN membership. Enjoy slaying those zombies!

If you're planning to play Zombie Chronicles on PS4 or PS5's online multiplayer mode, then yes, you need a PS Plus membership. But if you're just playing solo or split-screen with friends, PS Plus is not required.
