Never dig straight up in Terraria! It's like one of the cardinal rules. You might unleash a world of pain in the form of water, lava, or even a trap. Plus, it ruins the fun of exploring what's naturally around you. Taking the time to explore around the seed gives you a better game experience, trust me.

Honestly, the main reason to not dig up a Terraria seed is pure self-preservation. Digging straight up or down can drop you into unexpected dangers like caverns or lava pools. Always explore cautiously, and you'll live longer.

Digging up directly can end badly. Did that once and a boulder trap got me. Not fun.

If you're a Terraria player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
