Go to your PS4 or PS5 settings, select 'Account Management,' then 'Account Information,' and finally 'Profile.' Choose 'Online ID' and follow the prompts to change your PSN name. Easy peasy!

I changed mine last year on my PS4. You just go to Settings > Account Management > Account Information > Profile > Online ID. Got a fresh new name in under 5 minutes!
