Adding friends on Animal Crossing: New Horizons is a breeze! First, you gotta have a Nintendo Switch Online subscription. Then, after you've played ACNH for a bit, open your airport and ask Orville (the dodo at the counter) to open your gates to 'All my friends!' Your buddies can visit if they're on your Nintendo Switch friend list. To add someone new, just share your Switch friend code with them, and once they add you back, voilà! They're ready to visit your island paradise.

Honestly, adding friends is too much hassle. Just enjoy the solo play. The villagers are all the company you need.

Quick tip: If you're trying to add friends in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, remember you need their Switch friend code. No code, no friend visit. Keep it simple!

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
