How do Adventures work in MTG?
CatalogingDisk路7 months agoAdventures in MTG are a fun twist introduced in the Throne of Eldraine set. Here's the scoop: a card with an Adventure has two abilities - you can cast it for its Adventure spell at its Adventure cost, sending it on an 'adventure' to the exile zone if it resolves. Later on, during the same game, you can cast the creature itself from exile for its normal cost. It's like getting two spells in one card - first, the adventure, then the creature comes into play to tell the tale!

Short and sweet - Adventure cards are basically two-for-one deals. Cast them as spells first, then bring them to the battlefield as creatures from exile. Eldraine rocked with this mechanic.
Honestly, I think people overcomplicate Adventures. You cast the instants/sorceries side first, exile it, then cast the creature side. Simple and efficient!
