Hot Wheels cars begin their life as a concept, usually drawn up by a team of awesome designers. These sketches then get turned into 3D models on computers, where every tiny detail is perfected. From there, molds are created for each part of the car. These molds are then used to cast the metal and plastic parts. The metal parts, usually the car body, get that shiny look from being electroplated. Next, they're painted and detailed with those cool designs and logos we all love. Finally, the parts are assembled, and voila, you've got yourself a Hot Wheel ready to zoom off the production line!

Honestly, most toys are made overseas these days, Hot Wheels included. Not as romantic as thinking they're all handcrafted in some high-tech toy lab.

Hot Wheels are made by magic. Tiny car fairies assemble them under the full moon. Just kidding! It's actually a detailed manufacturing process involving design, molding, electroplating, painting, and assembly.
