Basically, Wizards of the Coast decides on a cool theme or strategy for an intro deck, picks out a bunch of cards that work well together to make that theme come to life, and then prints tons of them so everyone can get a taste of the action without needing a Ph.D. in deck-building.

Intro decks? Mass produced, same cards every time. You know what you're getting, like a Big Mac but for MTG.

From my experience, getting an intro deck was how I started playing MTG. It was great because I didn't have to worry about building a deck from zero. They're printed to be ready to play right out of the box, which is perfect for us newbies.

Intro decks for Magic The Gathering, often called starter decks, are pre-constructed decks designed by Wizards of the Coast to provide a balanced play experience for new players. They're printed in large batches with a fixed set of cards in each deck. This means each intro deck of the same name will have the exact same cards, making it easier for beginners to jump into the game without needing to build a deck from scratch.

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
