How are mana-producing MTG cards played?
Mana-producing cards in MTG, like lands, are usually played by placing them onto the battlefield during your main phase. You can tap these cards (turn them sideways) to add mana to your mana pool, which you then use to cast spells or activate abilities. Remember, you can normally only play one land per turn unless an ability says otherwise!
