Simple answer: emulators! People are using emulators on their PCs to relive the glory of Mortal Kombat 1. Go find MAME or RetroArch.

Arcade cabinets still exist, my friend. Some die-hard fans have their own home arcades with Mortal Kombat 1 installed.

Hot take: They're not! Most people are pretty much playing the newer releases with better graphics and more characters.

I've got an original SNES and the Mortal Kombat 1 cartridge. Nothing like the feel of the old school controllers and the pixelated gore. Nostalgia at its finest!

If you're a Mortal Kombat player looking for extra coins or other power-ups, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

Two of those prizes are the official App Store and Play Store gift cards, which you can win and use to get anything you want in Mortal Kombat essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
