Pokemon cards are usually sold in a few different ways at retail. You can find them in individual booster packs, which contain a random assortment of cards. They're also available in themed decks, ready to play out of the box with a specific strategy in mind. For those looking to seriously up their game or collectors chasing that rare find, there are also special collections and elite trainer boxes which include a mix of packs, exclusive cards, and other goodies. Retail stores like game shops, big-box retailers, and even some supermarkets stock them, so keep an eye out near the checkout lines or in the toy/game aisle!

Booster packs are overrated. If you're serious about building a competitive deck, go for the themed decks or elite trainer boxes. Better value and you get what you need without the gamble.

Just grab 'em in booster packs, man. Most straightforward way to start or grow your collection. Easy.

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
