How are Pokemon cards weighed?

Tried it once, thought I was onto something when I got a pack that was a fraction heavier. Ended up with the same odds as not weighing. It's all just luck of the draw.

Weighing Pokemon cards is something some folks do trying to guess what's inside a pack before opening it. The idea is, certain rare cards might be a tad heavier because of extra foil or other features, so a heavier pack could mean a better pull. But honestly, it's not very reliable because the weight differences are so small and pack manufacturing has gotten more consistent to prevent this kind of thing.

It doesn't really work anymore. The packs are made to be pretty much the same weight now to stop people from cherry-picking the good ones. Save your scales for baking!

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
