Short and sweet: Sagas add a lore counter each of your precombat main phases and trigger abilities based on the number of counters. Last ability triggers? Bye-bye Saga.

To be honest, not everyone's a fan. Sagas can be a bit slow and predictable. If your opponent knows what's coming, they can plan around it. Great in theory, but sometimes underwhelming in practice.

Sagas in MTG are a super cool type of enchantment that tell a story over several turns! When you play a Saga, it enters with a lore counter. At the beginning of your precombat main phase, it gets another lore counter. Then, you activate the ability corresponding to the number of lore counters on it. Once the final chapter鈥檚 ability has been activated, you sacrifice the Saga. It鈥檚 like playing through a mini storyline on your battlefield!

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
