How are Sagas played in MTG?
CopyingSole路7 months agoShort and sweet: Sagas add a lore counter each of your precombat main phases and trigger abilities based on the number of counters. Last ability triggers? Bye-bye Saga.

To be honest, not everyone's a fan. Sagas can be a bit slow and predictable. If your opponent knows what's coming, they can plan around it. Great in theory, but sometimes underwhelming in practice.
Sagas in MTG are a super cool type of enchantment that tell a story over several turns! When you play a Saga, it enters with a lore counter. At the beginning of your precombat main phase, it gets another lore counter. Then, you activate the ability corresponding to the number of lore counters on it. Once the final chapter鈥檚 ability has been activated, you sacrifice the Saga. It鈥檚 like playing through a mini storyline on your battlefield!
