Casting spells in MTG is like baking a magical cake. First, you need the right ingredients: mana. You get mana from lands you've played, tapping them to show they're in use. Then, choose your spell card from your hand that matches the mana you've got. Each spell card has a mana cost, showing the amount and type of mana you need. Match the cost, announce your spell, and place it on the 'stack' (MTG's version of a waiting line). Your opponents can respond with their own spells or abilities. If nothing stops it, your spell resolves (happens)!

Just tap lands for mana, pay the spell's cost, and boom, your spell's on its way! Watch for counterspells tho.

Pro tip: Always keep track of your mana availability and your opponent's untapped lands. That way, you won't waste your best spell when they're fully loaded to counter it.

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
