Elements in the Periodic Table are arranged by increasing atomic number (that’s the number of protons they have!). They are also grouped into columns called groups, where elements have similar properties, and rows called periods. Easy peasy!

Atoms get organized by their atomic number—think of it like lining up by height in school, but for elements.

They're sorted by increasing atomic number and grouped by similar chemical properties. Imagine a giant chemistry-themed game of Tetris.

It's all about atomic number, folks! From left to right and top to bottom, just follow the numbers.
